Taiwan’s cargo ship Evergreen, stranded in the Suez Canal, has been seized in Egypt.

According to foreign media reports, an Egyptian court has ordered the ship owners to pay a fine of 90 900 million.

It is said that the ship Evergreen will remain in the possession of Egypt until the fine is paid.

It should be noted that the ship that was stranded in the Suez Canal on March 23 could be pulled out six days later. Egypt lost 12-15 million a day in revenue.

Remember that more than ten percent of world trade is through the Suez Canal, the shortest sea route between Asia and Europe.
