Federal Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmed Monday received the first dose of coronavirus vaccine at the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Hospital.
According to details, Chinese vaccine Sinopharm has been administered to the interior minister who recovered from the pandemic last year.
On the other hand, Pakistan reported 20 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases surged to 630,471. The nationwide tally of fatalities jumped to 13,863 while 3,669 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours
Pakistan has so far conducted 9,817,491 coronavirus tests and 43,498 in the last 24 hours. 583,538 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 2,423 patients are in critical condition.
