The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has decided to suspend all business activities across the country until 8pm following an increase in cases.

A meeting of the NCOC was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Planning Asad Omar to review the situation of Corona in the country.

According to the statement, the NCOC expressed deep concern over the current situation in Corona across the country.

The statement said that it has been decided to close all business activities across the country till 8 pm, while business activities in the country will remain closed for two days in a week.

According to the NCOC, cinemas and shrines across the country will remain completely closed, while gatherings of up to 300 people will be allowed with Corona SOPs.

The statement said that there would be a complete ban on sports, festivals, cultural and other celebrations and all closed cultural, musical and religious gatherings.

According to the announcement, up to 300 people will be allowed outdoor wedding ceremonies till 10 pm, however, outdoor wedding ceremonies will be for 2 hours while no indoor ceremony will be allowed.

The statement said that all types of indoor dining have been banned across the country and only outdoor dining will be allowed till 10 pm while all amusement parks will remain closed but walk and jogging tracks will remain open.

The statement said that all government, private offices will have a 50 per cent home-based policy.

The decisions of the NCOC will be implemented immediately and will remain in force till April 11, the statement said.
