Myanmar’s military leadership has accused ousted political leader Aung San Suu Kyi of illegally receiving 600,000 and 11kg of gold.

According to the international news agency Reuters, this is the most serious accusation against the political leader imprisoned by Myanmar’s military rulers in an unknown location during the February 1 military coup. However, the military rulers have not provided any evidence in this regard.

On the other hand, the army has intensified crackdown on peaceful protesters and seven more civilians were killed in firing by security forces in different parts of the country. Six of the deaths occurred in the central town of Myang.
