ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has received a vote of confidence from the National Assembly.

The Speaker of the National Assembly said that Prime Minister Imran Khan got 178 votes from the House while he got 176 votes when he was elected Prime Minister.

National Assembly began its session at the parliament house in Islamabad on Saturday with Speaker Asad Qaiser in the chair.

Prime Minister Imran Khan will take the vote of confidence from the house.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has moved a resolution pertaining to confidence in Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The Speaker explained the procedure of the vote of confidence.
