Voting took place in the National Assembly on the general seat of Islamabad in which the opposition candidate former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani is declared winner.
Re-voting was held by the government but Yousuf Raza Gilani was also successful in re-voting.
Voting took place in the National Assembly and Provincial Assemblies by secret ballot. The decision on the 37 seats in the upper house is still awaited.
