The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has announced the resignation of all posts of the anti-government opposition Ittehad Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).

Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is holding a press conference after the meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the party.

Bilawal Bhutto, while addressing a press conference, said that he demanded the termination of the agreement with the IMF. He termed the SBP ordinance as a historic attack on economic sovereignty.

He announced to challenge the ordinance in court and said that PTI would launch a campaign against the IMF deal in Ramadan.

Bilawal Bhutto said that Pakistan and Kashmir could not afford such an incompetent Prime Minister. The puppet Prime Minister has never done as much damage to the Kashmir cause as he did.

Earlier, the PPP had decided to resign from the PDM’s steering committee on a show cause notice.

The PPP had taken a stand in the CEC that a deliberate attempt had been made to cause irreparable damage to the opposition alliance by issuing show cause notices.

It was said in the CEC meeting that if the PDM is to be kept active, an apology should be sought from the PPP and ANP. Bilawal Bhutto will announce important decisions in a press conference.

According to sources, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari read out the show cause notice of the PDM issued by Shahid Khaqan Abbasi yesterday and got emotional and tore the notice.
