Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice-president Maryam Nawaz appealed to the Lahore High Court (LHC) her interim bail in an illegal land transfer case.

As per the details, the case will be heard shortly by a two-member bench of LHC.

Maryam Nawaz has claimed that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) aims to arrest her under the pressure of the government.

Maryam Nawaz has appealed the request for bail in a case related to the illegal transfer of 180 acres of land in Raiwand.

Earlier in March, Maryam Nawaz submitted a surety bond for Rs1 million for bail in a Land allotment case.

As per the details, Nawaz was granted pre-arrest bail by LHC. She was summoned by the National Accountability Bureau on March 26 for a plot allotment case.

The PML-N had earlier appealed to LHC Chief Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan to place a pre-arrest bail application for immediate hearing before the bench.
