The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has approved the emergency use of the vaccine by the Chinese company Sinowek.
CoronaWek is the fifth approved vaccine to be used in other countries, including China, Brazil, Indonesia, and Turkey.
According to DRAP officials, the vaccine can be kept at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius. The effectiveness of the vaccine is low but it can be effective in the third wave.
CoronaWek’s potency is between 50 and 60%, Corona Week’s vaccine also contains two doses.
Corona Vaccination Centers across the country have a weekly holiday today.
Vaccination registration is also underway for foreigners in the country on NADRA portal. Foreign nationals will be able to register with passport and mobile phone number.
