The Supreme Court of Pakistan, while giving a brief verdict in the case related to re-election in NA-75 Daska constituency of the National Assembly, rejected the appeal of PTI while upholding the order of re-election of the Election Commission.

Earlier, the apex court completed the hearing of the case and took 10 minutes to pronounce its verdict.

During the hearing, Justice Omar Ata Bandial said that the legal points should be stated which are of necessary nature, relying only on the documents on which the Election Commission has decided.

During the hearing of the case, Noon League MNA Shiza Fatima continued to use her mobile phone in the court room, but the police stopped her from using it.

Election Commission lawyer Mian Abdul Rauf said that there was no mention of organized fraud in the decision of the Election Commission, the Commission did not write any word of organized fraud, the decision of the Commission was on violations of law, IG Punjab and other officials did not listen to the phone. Polling was suspended at 13 polling stations and firing incidents took place in the entire constituency.
