Should educational institutions in the country be kept open or closed? The decision will be taken at a meeting of the National Command and Control Center (NCCOC) today.

The meeting in Islamabad will be attended by federal and all provincial education and health ministers.

Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood has said that the Ministry of Education wants schools not to be closed.

According to sources, the Islamabad Health Department has suggested keeping the schools closed for a few more days.

The rate of corona in Islamabad was also 10% yesterday.

Referring to educational institutions, Punjab government spokesman Musarat Jamshed Cheema said that the corona rate in Punjab is 9.5%, the lives of children are very important, schools will be opened where the corona rate is low.

On the other hand, Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani also said that the exams may be delayed but the exams will definitely be held.
