LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has granted security bail to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz.
Maryam Nawaz had approached the Lahore High Court for security bail after being summoned by the NAB and had filed the application through her lawyer Azam Nazir Tarar.
Justice Sardar Sarfraz Dogar and Justice Asjad Javed Gharal of the Lahore High Court heard the petition in which Maryam Nawaz argued that the NAB had summoned her in two inquiries in which she wanted to appear but there was a fear of arrest by the NAB. Therefore, security guarantee should be granted.
The Lahore High Court heard Maryam Nawaz’s application today and granted her bail till April 12 and restrained the NAB from arresting her.
