Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has postponed a long march against the government.

After the PDM meeting, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam and Opposition Alliance, came for a press conference.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), says that if the principles of democracy are followed, the decision of the majority is in favour of resignation.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that 9 out of 10 parties of the PDM have agreed on resignations, only the PPP has reservations in this regard.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the long march of March 26 should be considered postponed till the response of PPP.

The PPP is a democratic party and hopefully, it will abide by democratic principles.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that they are not here to make big speeches but for the people of Pakistan.

To make the right decision for the people of Pakistan is more important than mentioning the sacrifices of our elders here, Maulana said

“If I recount the sacrifices of my forefathers for the Muslim Ummah, all listeners will weep,” he added.
