Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shehbaz has been released from jail here on Saturday.

According to the details, Hamza Shahbaz has been granted bail on the orders issued by the Accountability Court (AC) judge Akmal Khan after the surety bonds submitted by the PML-N were verified.

Addressing the PML-N workers after his release, Hamza Shahbaz claimed that not a single penny’s worth of corruption could be proved against him despite a span of three years.

He said that the allegations leveled against the leadership of PML-N were based on “assumptions.” The authorities failed in proving the corruption charges against the opposition, he maintained.

Criticizing the incumbent PTI- led government, the PML-N leader went on to add that medicines were being provided free of cost to the patients in Shehbaz Sharif’s tenure. He lashed out at the government over the hike in wheat and petrol prices.

On the other hand, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz said that Shibli Faraz has said that those who mercilessly looted the national exchequer in the past are stubbornly claiming today that no corruption has been proven against them.

In his tweets today, he said these elements filled their pockets at the cost of the people of the country.

The Information Minister said the elders of Hamza Sharif and Maryam Nawaz promoted the culture of corruption in the country, destroying the nation’s morality.

He said that Hamza Sharif has been released on bail and not acquitted. He said Hamza Sharif should discuss matters pertaining to his case before the court.
