LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the government has been badly defeated in the by-elections.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Bilawal Bhutto said that PDM has nominated Yousuf Raza Gilani as its candidate in the Senate elections.
Bilawal Bhutto said that those who rigged the by-election of Daska have been exposed.
“The PDM had decided to run in the by-elections together. We had decided to give the government a hard time together,” he said.
The PPP chairman said that the PDM had exposed the government to the whole world. The people are not with the government, they are with the PDM.
Bilawal Bhutto said that we want the upper hand of the parliament.
