ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to participate in the upcoming Senate elections and political activities in the Parliament.
The PML-N leadership took this decision at a meeting of the parliamentary party chaired by Maryam Nawaz.
Addressing the meeting, she said that the government was confused. Opposition will continue to play its role in Parliament. The government will be given tough time on national and public issues.
Maryam Nawaz said that the decision of resignations would be taken by Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and all parties would be bound to accept it.
Reacting to the statement of Paksitan peoples Party (PPP) chairman, she said Bilawal Bhutto should bring suggestions regarding a no-confidence motion and the PDM would consider it in the meeting.
She was talking to the media after Parliamentary party meeting held in Islamabad today.
Maryam Nawaz said, “We will not do anything under pressure of anyone. This time is not far away. Inshallah, there will be a long march and we will also resign.”
Ms. Nawaz talking about government, said, “No matter how many contacts they make with PML-N or anyone else, thank God PML-N is united. All Pakistan will apply for PML-N ticket but no one will apply for their ticket.”
