In a major firepower display, the Pakistan Navy successfully demonstrated anti-ship missiles firing and torpedoes from underwater in the Arabian Sea.
According to the Navy Spokesperson, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi observed the firing of missiles and torpedoes. Pakistan Navy submarines successfully hit their targets.


The Spokesperson said the successful demonstration of missile firing is a testament to the Pakistan Navy’s operational capability and military readiness.


On the occasion, Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi expressed satisfaction over the operational preparedness of the Pakistan Navy.

Pakistan Navy personnel and officers are always ready to protect the country’s maritime borders and maritime assets.


It may be recalled that Pakistan on January 7th conducted a successful test flight of an indigenously developed guided multi-launch rocket system, the country’s army said.


The military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said in a statement that the Fatah-1 rocket system is “capable of delivering a conventional warhead up to a range of 140 km [nearly 87 miles],” the.
“The weapon system will give Pakistan Army capability of a precision target engagement deep in enemy territory,” said ISPR.


The country’s civilian and military leadership congratulated the participating troops and scientists on the successful conduct of the flight test, it added.
