Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz said on Saturday that the government is seeking NRO from Pakistan.

Addressing a press conference in Jati Umra, she said that PML-N has received resignations from 95 percent of the lawmakers. “Government will be sent packing no matter what.”

Maryam also said that she does not know how the resignations of Murtaza Javed and Sajjad Awan reached Speaker because the resignations are to be submitted to party leadership by December 31.

Moreover, she talked about participation in Senate polls and by-elections. She said that PDM will take a decision regarding contesting the elections and PML-N will honor the decision of the opposition’s alliance.

Apart from that, Nawaz talked about former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto (late). She said that Benazir Bhutto gave her life for democracy and signed the charter of democracy which changed the history of Pakistan.

“She stressed the need for unity and solidarity in the country”.

She further talked about PML-N leader Shehbaz Sharif. “Shehbaz Sharif is loyal to his brother and if he was not loyal to Mian Nawaz Sharif and the party, he would have been the current Prime Minister.”

About the speculations of differences among PDM members, Maryam said that different news starts to emerge whenever Bilawal Bhutto Zardari does not attend any rally.

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz will arrive in Sukkur on Saturday at 4:00 pm.
