The 19th season of the famous animated sitcom, Family Guy, opened up with a joke about PSL teams Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings.
The Family Guy is an American animated sitcom debuted on January 31, 1999, and since then one of the longest-running animations shows on TV.
The show revolves around a wacky Rhode Island town wherein, a dysfunctional family strives to cope up with everyday life as they are thrown from one crazy scenario to another.
However, in the recent season 19 premiere episode 1, the show opens up with a Lahore Qalandar vs Karachi King joke. Although the accents have been lazily done and seem very Indian it is a nice authentic nuance.
The joke starts with a guy comparing clams with a weird foreign sports fan and then points to two men with Lahore printed on their shirts. Pakistan Super League teams Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings have already been at odds including the respective team supporters.
Not only this, but residents residing in the two major cities are always ousting each other on food, places, and other facets.
