The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has again summoned PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz in the Sugar Mills case.
Sources said that Maryam Nawaz has been directed to appear before NAB Lahore on Friday, March 26.
Maryam Nawaz had earlier appeared before NAB Lahore on August 11, 2020.
There are reports that NAB Lahore has received new evidence regarding Maryam Nawaz. Maryam Nawaz has to be investigated in the light of new evidence.
NAB has also approached the Lahore High Court to cancel the bail of Maryam Nawaz in the case.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested Maryam Nawaz and Yousuf Abbas on August 8, 2019 in the Chopra Sugar Mills case. The PML-N leader had sought bail from the Lahore High Court in November 2019.
