A woman and her two children were killed when a cylinder exploded at a pizza shop in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of Karachi.
According to SSP East Sajid Amir Saduzai, the incident took place in a pizza shop built in the shops of Ground Garden Apartments within the limits of Gulistan-e-Jauhar police station. According to police, the shop was closed at the time of the blast.
According to a spokesman for Chhepa Welfare, the blast killed three people, including a woman, and injured five others. The injured were rushed to a private hospital near Gulistan-e-Jauhar while the bodies were shifted to Jinnah Hospital.
The bodies of 32-year-old Fabia Ali, her 4-year-old daughter Fatima Ali and two-year-old son Abdullah Ali, who were killed in the blast, have been shifted to Jinnah Hospital, according to Dr Sami Jamali, director of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center.
Two injured in the incident, Burhan and Waqar, are also being treated at Jinnah Hospital.
