The Islamabad administration has banned inter-provincial transport to and from the federal capital Islamabad for two days a week in view of increasing cases of corona virus and instructions from the NCOC.
Inter-provincial transport has been banned for Saturdays and Sundays, for which a formal notification has also been issued.
According to the notification, the ban will not apply to private vehicles, vehicles used for transporting goods, medical and emergency transport.
The ban will apply from the night of April 9-10 to the night of April 25-26, 2021. SOPs will be strictly enforced for the rest of the week.
Yesterday, the National Command and Control Operation (NCOC) banned inter-provincial transport in the country for Saturday and Sunday in view of the situation in Corona.
