A furniture godown located in the Furniture market Liaquatabad area of Karachi caught fire on Tuesday.
As per the details, the fire erupted in the basement of the furniture warehouse. The fire covered the three-story building.
Five fire brigade vehicles have reached the scene and are busy controlling the ablaze.
Rescue sources said that no deaths or injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is still not known.
Residents of the area reported that plastic and other chemicals are present in the godown.
MD KW&SB Asadullah Khan has imposed an emergency at the Sakhi Hasan water hydrant. He said that several water tankers have been sent to the fire incident site.
