On the fifth and final day of the Test match played in Abu Dhabi, Afghanistan achieved Zimbabwe’s 108-run target by 4 wickets.
Signs of Afghanistan’s victory over Zimbabwe in the Abu Dhabi Test were visible only yesterday.
In pursuit of the target, Rehmat Shah scored 58 runs while Ibrahim Zadran was the leading batsman with 29 runs.
Mozarbani and Ryan Burrell forced two or three Afghan players to leave the field. Hashmatullah Shahidi was declared the best player of the match for scoring an unbeaten double century in this Test.
Earlier, Afghanistan declared their first innings at 545 for four. Zimbabwe were bowled out for a big score in the first innings.
