On Friday afternoon in the seventh match of the PSL 2021 at National Stadium , Lahore Qalandars will take on Multan Sultans.
Currently, Lahore Qalandars are leading the points table of this PSL season with 4 points after playing two matches. Meanwhile, Multan Sultans haven’t opened their account yet after playing two games this season.
Lahore Qalanders have managed good starts in the PSL 2021 as they have won both the first two games of this season. They will now try their best to maintain this moment.
In back-to-back match days, Mohammad Hafeez scored two match-winning unbeaten knocks of 33* and 73*. Also, the opener Fakhar Zaman batted brilliantly in the last game by scoring the match-winning 82 not out.
On the other hand, Haris Rauf has started this PSL season with bowling figures of 4-0-38-3 in the last game. Left-arm fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has also taken four wickets in two games, including three wickets in the first match. However, Lahore Qalanders will now miss the Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan who was very economical in their first game of this PSL 2021.
In the meantime, Multan Sultans have got the totally opposite start of Lahore Qalandars as Sultans have lost their first two matches of this PSL 2021. They have to end this losing run very soon unless they will lose out on their opportunities.
Captain Mohammad Rizwan and James Vince have retained their latest batting form in the early of this PSL season. While Rizwan has scored 71 and 41 runs respectively in this new PSL season, Vince has scored 16 and 84 runs respectively in this tournament. However, they haven’t get proper strong support from the other batters as Multan Sultans ended both the first two matches of the PSL 6 as the losers.
