Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the court proceedings of the foreign funding case should be open and that the party heads should attend the hearings.

According to details, while talking to reporters in South Waziristan, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he challenged to hold an open hearing of the foreign funding case and broadcast it live on TV.

He further said that remittances sent by overseas Pakistanis run the country. I took Shaukat Khanum Hospital funding from overseas Pakistanis.

Imran Khan said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman used the children of madrassas to blackmail the governments. Where did Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s property worth billions of rupees come from, he is blackmailing for NRO.

The Prime Minister further said that he was grateful to the opposition for raising the issue of foreign funding. It should be clear where the funding for the PTI and the opposition came from.

“Despite the economic difficulties, we had to cut costs and increase revenue,” he said. Reducing costs has caused problems for people.

The Prime Minister said that we had to make reforms which were delayed. After the 18th Amendment, nothing can be done without uniting the provinces. Even in a parliamentary democracy, there can be no reform without an overwhelming majority.

He said Wana had always been ignored. We will now take Wana towards development and start development projects soon.

Earlier, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has submitted details of its accounts with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

While talking to media in the federal capital Islamabad on Tuesday, he said it is now time for the Pakistan Peoples Party PPP and the Pakistan Muslim League PML (N) to submit details of their accounts with the commission.

The last hearing scheduled for March 19 but was cancelled due to the lockdown. The ECP’s scrutiny committee, formed in March 2018 to audit the PTI’s accounts for the 2009-13 period initially mandated to complete the scrutiny of PTI accounts in one month. Later the timeframe extended indefinitely.
