ISLAMABAD: Advisor to the Prime Minister on Accountability and Interior Barrister Mirza Shahzad Akbar on Monday has said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo and former PM Nawaz Sharif was ousted on corruption and money laundering charges.
Addressing a press conference, the advisor said that the narrative of PML-N regarding disqualifying Nawaz Sharif on iqama is baseless. Ex-PM Nawaz Sharif had lied to the Parliament and the people of Pakistan, he added.
Shahzad Akbar further said that PML-N leaders mislead the accountability officers in the cases regarding properties and assets.
