Prime Minister Imran Khan has wished eminent religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel a speedy recovery from the novel coronavirus.
According to the details, PM Imran took to his Twitter and wrote:
“Praying for Maulana Tariq Jamil’s speedy and full recovery from Covid 19.”
Maulana Tariq Jameel confirmed in his tweet that he was not feeling well for the last few days.
“On getting tested for Covid-19, it came positive,” he said. “I have been admitted to a hospital on the doctor’s advice. I request you all to make special prayers.”
Tariq Jamil was born on 1 October 1953 in Mian Channu, Pakistan. He completed primary education at Central Model School, Lahore. Jamil is an alumnus of Government College University.
He received his Islamic education from Jamia Arabia, Raiwind, where he studied Qur’an, Hadith, Sufism, logic, and Islamic jurisprudence.
