Under the strict coronavirus standard operating procedures’ (SOPs) implementation, the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) will be held on the scheduled date, November 29th.
Dr. Faisal Sultan, the Special Assistant to Prime Minister on health had said yesterday while addressing a press conference that all entry and professional exams will be held on their scheduled dates.
However, he emphasized that the SOPs would be followed during the exams.
It is pertinent to mention here that the decision was made during the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC) held to discuss the closures of educational institutions in Pakistan.
Earlier, the National Medical and Dental Academic Board (NMDAB) had approved the common syllabus that was previously announced by the Pakistan Medical Council (PMC).
“The National Medical and Dental Academic Board convened, 21st November 2020, to decide the academic and accreditation standards of medical education in Pakistan,” read the press release issued by PMC.
