Last Tuesday evening, thieves stole Apple products worth 5 million pounds ($6.6 million) as they targeted a truck carrying the goods.
According to the details, the thieves tied the truck driver and security guard during the truck heist in central England. The British police told that they targeted the truck on a slip road to the M1 motorway in Northamptonshire. Later they took the vehicle to a nearby industrial estate.
After that, the thieves transferred the trailer onto another truck and drove it to Lutterworth’s town, and loaded the Apple products including watches, iPhone 11s, Air Pods, iPads, and chargers into a third vehicle.
The robbers did not use any weapons in the heist, however, the driver and security guard sustained minor injuries but were not hurt.
A British police spokeswoman said,
“However, as you can imagine this was a very traumatic ordeal for them both.”
The police did not reveal how many thieves were involved in the heist and said,
“They wanted to speak to anyone who may have been offered any Apple products for sale in unusual circumstances, or who knows of anyone who is selling such items at low-cost prices”.
