Karachi Kings take home the title for Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 after defeating Lahore Qalandars by five wickets.
Babar Azam led Karachi Kings to their first PSL victory after defeating Lahore Qalandars at the National Stadium on Tuesday.
Dedicating his victory to late Dean Jones, Head Coach Karachi Kings, Babar Azam said, “Deano, job done coach!”
In response, Karachi always looked in control until a late flurry of wickets but Babar Azam’s presence got them through.
Babar was named the man of the match, the batsman of the tournament as well as the player of the tournament – accolades that also earned him a total of $34,500 in rewards.
Furthermore, the entire cricket fraternity lauds the winning champions Karachi Kings for their outstanding victory.
Former Pakistan cricket team captain Shoaib Malik has also congratulated the Champions for defeating Lahore Qalandars.
Karachi Kings skipper Imad Wasim ahead of his team’s victory, said that he misses the legendary Dean Jones and hopes he can see the trophy shine all the way up there.
