A 5.1 magnitude earthquake has jolted Quetta and adjoining areas on early Saturday morning. No loss of life has been reported.

According to the details, the depth of the quake was recorded 38 kilometres while the epicentre 38 kilometres in the west of the Balochistan capital.

Feeling the tremors people in Quetta, Pashin, Harnai and other areas came out of their houses by reciting Kalma-e-Tayyaba.

Earlier on November 3, a 4.4 magnitude earthquake had struck Quetta and adjoining areas.

The depth of the earthquake recorded 35 kilometres while the epicentre 90 kilometres in the west of the Balochistan capital.

Moreover, the epicentre of the quake was at 100 kilometres distance in Southeast of Karachi at the depth of 10 kilometres, as per the details.
