PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have met on Wednesday to discuss the ongoing election campaign in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Both the leaders have been in the northern region of the country since the past several days. They are there for a campaign trail ahead of the Sunday polls for the Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly.

From PPP, Senator Sherry Rehman and Mustafa Khokhar are scheduled to meet for tea. PML-N’s Shahid Khaqan Abbas, Ahsan Iqbal, and Pervez Rashid will also be present.

The two leaders discussed the overall situation in the country as well as the future strategy of the PDM, and Gilgit-Baltistan elections.
