Accountability Court Lahore on Tuesday issued a non-bailable arrest warrant of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in an illegal plot allotment case and declared him a proclaimed offender.

According to the details, the accountability court judge Asad Ali declared Nawaz Sharif a fugitive. The court also ordered foreclosure of Nawaz Sharif’s property.

In addition to this, the accountability watchdog NAB and the Revenue Department have also been directed to submit a report on the foreclosure of the property at the next hearing.

The court remarked that despite the lapse of 30 days, Nawaz Sharif did not appear. The court has adjourned the next hearing till November 26.

Earlier in the above-mentioned case, non-bailable arrest warrants had been issued for the former prime minister and PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif.

The accountability court had given a month to the former prime minister and Nawaz Sharif to appear in the plot allotment case. Nawaz Sharif’s warrants were received at his residence in London.
