PML-N Vice President has said that Sher Jawan Tehreek is a movement to remind the youth of the purpose of Pakistan.
Addressing the inaugural function of PML-N’s ‘Sher Jawan’ movement in Lahore, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz said that the future of the youth of Pakistan is secure.
She said that the response from all over the country has been very good.
Referring to the Sher Jawan Movement, Maryam Nawaz said, “This Sher Jawan movement is seemingly new and its name is also new but the aims of this movement are the same which was founded 83 years ago in 1937 under the name of All India Muslim Federation and its patrons. The Supreme Leader was Muhammad Ali Jinnah himself and this organization had played the role of the vanguard of Pakistan movement.

She said that ‘Quaid-e-Azam while addressing the Muslim youth in Calcutta in 1937 had said that the youth of the new generation! Each of you has to become Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam. I am sure that the future of the nation will be in your safe hands.
Maryam Nawaz said that women will be also part of this movement and we all will fight with the same spirit.
She said that Sher Jawan is a movement to give political consciousness to the youth. It is a movement to raise awareness of the rights of youth.
The PML-N vice-president said that this is a movement to remind the youth of Pakistan of the purpose of Pakistan, to make the youth understand the message of Iqbal’s Shaheen, the motherland, the meaning of the constitution, the democratic system of Pakistan’s youth.
