Misbah-ul-Haq has decided to resign from the post of Chief Selector of Pakistan Cricket team after serving for over a year.
Addressing the news conference in Lahore on Wednesday, Misbah-ul-Haq said that he decided to relinquish the post of chief selector on personal reasons.
He said that it was very difficult for him to work on dual responsibilities as team’s head coach and chief selector.
Misbah was made chief Selector, Head Coach and batting Coach last year in September.
Misbah, however, will continue to serve as the head coach of the men’s team.
