ISLAMABAD: Hijab day is being observed on Friday throughout the world including Pakistan. The reason for observing this day is to raise awareness of the importance of wearing a hijab in Islamic teachings.
Different events were organized by women on the occasion of the hijab day. Restrictions imposed on wearing Hijab in France led to marking Hijab day. After the conflict on hijab in France, the students of one of the universities in France observed hijab day, after that throughout the world including Pakistan hijab day is observed on 4th September.
