UMERKOT. Heavy downpour with strong winds and thunderstorm lashed entire district, including arid and irrigated areas, inundated low lying areas, rooted out trees, electric poles, straw made huts, and brought a ray of hope for arid growers. It rained in Umerkot, Samaro, Kunri, Pithoro talukas.
