Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that we will not stop those who are protesting peacefully. If law and order situation arises, we will take security measures.
Talking to media outside the Islamabad Accountability Court, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that in response to what happened in Lahore yesterday, Mufti Muneeb announced a wheel jam strike in the country.
The Sindh Chief Minister said that we have been in touch with all the people since last night. Anyone who wants to close shop, transport and stay at home voluntarily is allowed.
Murad Ali Shah said that my advice is that the government should not do something that is not possible, the government is advised not to put in a lot of trouble for the sake of temporary benefit, it is also to see that no other Muslim should be hurt because of our action.
He said that the provinces were not taken into confidence in the current situation, only by taking the stakeholders into confidence can a better solution be reached.
The Sindh Chief Minister said that Khurshid Shah has been in jail for two years, the rest of the place is getting some relief, but the PPP is facing a case and is also facing wrong cases.
He said that Khurshid Shah is in jail, there is no question of deal etc.
