The court issued notice to Maryam Nawaz for April 7 on the NAB’s request to cancel the bail of PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz.

A two-member bench headed by Justice Sarfraz Dogar heard the NAB petition in the Lahore High Court.

During the hearing, the court said that you had written to the court that there was no need for further interrogation of Maryam Nawaz. The court restrained NAB prosecutor Faisal Bukhari from giving arguments and said that the petitioner should give arguments.

The court ordered NAB prosecutor Faisal Bukhari that your seniors are present, let them give arguments.

On the order of the court, Deputy Prosecutor General NAB Chaudhry Khaliq-ul-Zaman appeared on the rostrum. The court asked him for what reasons do you want the cancellation of Maryam Nawaz’s bail?’

Justice Sarfraz Dogar said that you called Maryam Nawaz in August and then you sat quietly. Why didn’t you call Maryam Nawaz?

The court, after a brief hearing on NAB’s plea, fixed the petition for a formal hearing.

It may be recalled that the NAB chairman had filed a petition in the Lahore High Court through the Deputy Prosecutor General Punjab in which he took the position that Maryam Nawaz has been continuously attacking state institutions since her release on bail.
