According to the former cricketer’s son, a call came from the Prime Minister’s House to inquire about his father’s well-being.
Former Test off-spinner and Bangalore hero Tauseef Ahmed suffered a heart attack at a wedding party in Lahore on Sunday night, after which he was rushed to a local hospital.
Tauseef Ahmed has played 34 Tests and 70 ODIs for Pakistan. He also had a heart operation in Karachi two years ago.
