Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmed says the government has taken serious notice of armed wings of political parties and is considering to impose ban on these wings.
Addressing a press conference in Peshawar, he said political parties are free to exercise their political rights as guaranteed by Constitution.
The Interior Minister said use of indecent language against Armed Forces of Pakistan would not be tolerated and legal action would be taken against the violators.
He said law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its merged tribal areas has significantly improved due to the sacrifices of armed forces, Frontier Constabulary and police.
The Minister said action would also be taken against those NGOs which are involved in politics.
Sheikh Rashid said the border management system with Afghanistan and other countries would be further strengthened as per international standards.
