Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman called on PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz to discuss a decision of Pakistan People’s Party regarding the resignations from the assemblies.

Note that, PPP has opposed the decision of resigning from the assemblies and later the party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto announced that party will participate in senate elections after the CEC meeting.

Fazlur Rehman also said that the future of PDM is democracy and rule of law prevails in the country, the arrest of Khawaja Asif is an act of political revenge.

Maryam Nawaz said that I was in Islamabad due to the founding day of the party. Maulana Fazlur Rehman invited us to dinner and fed us very tasty food.

She said that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was also present on the occasion of the meeting through video link.

The PML-N vice-president further said that the PDM meeting would be held in Raiwind on January 1.

On the statement of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif regarding cancellation of passport, Maryam Nawaz said that if Nawaz Sharif’s passport is cancelled then the support of 220 million will stand in his passport.
