Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations across Sindh will remain closed for 24 hours.

According to the All Pakistan CNG Association, the closure effective from 8 am will Wednesday will be in place till 8 am Thursday. Gas supply will be restored on Thursday while gas supply will be suspended for another 24 hours on Friday.

Meanwhile, RLNG stations will remain open. Gas supply to them will continue as usual.

According to officials, due to a reduction in gas pressure across Sindh, including Karachi, domestic consumers and the commercial sector are facing difficulties in meeting demand. Officials said that the amount of gas received from various gas fields has decreased.

It may be recalled that the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), yesterday hiked gas prices for CNG, power sector, and industrial sector.
