Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21st September.
As the world is observing International Day of Peace today [Monday], the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir are longing for peace with dignity and honour.
The day is being observed to show appreciation for all those who worked to promote peace and end conflicts across the world.
The theme for this year is “Shaping Peace Together”.
The UN General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, through observing 24 hours of non-violence and cease-fire.
