Islamabad: The Pakistan Telecommunications Authority has issued a detailed decision on the reasons for the ban on PubG.

The decision made it clear that PubG was having a negative impact on the minds of the youth while the decision to ban was taken after listening to all parties.

The Islamabad High Court had on July 1 suspended the game ban order and directed the PTA to decide on all the petitions within seven days with detailed reasons.

The PTA said in its decision that the authority had come to the conclusion that the pub had “devastating effects”.

It should be noted that the Islamabad High Court had annulled the notification of a temporary ban on the game. The court had directed the PTA to issue a detailed order with reasons.
