Archives Conservation Laboratories (ACL) is a first of its kind, paper conservation laboratory in Pakistan that conserve and restore all kinds of archive materials.
Historical paper archives and photographic collections are often fragile and require work in a controlled environment which is a critical component of preservation.
ACl works on “Condition Reports” which is the document that records the state of conservation of a work of art when it is carefully examined periodically or specifically by the experts to provide the presence of any physical damage.
Detailed Description of condition of the documents are made with help of photographs and drawing, measuring the Ph levels to verify the acidity levels on paper.
