As the second wave of Covid-19 keeps rising in Pakistan, 71 more deaths and 2,729 new cases were reported during the last 24 hours.
The death toll has now reached 8,724 and there are now 45,124 active cases in the country.
381,208 patients stand recovered from the pandemic.
