Islamabad:

Roads in Rawalpindi, Islamabad closed since two days, mobile phone service suspended.

Roads connecting Islamabad to Rawalpindi have been blocked for two days by Tehreek-e-Labbaik. Mobile phone service is suspended in both cities.

Citizens are trapped. Protesters demand that the French ambassador be deported. The administration also held talks with protest leaders today to end the protests and open the way, which has not yet been successful.

It may be recalled that rallies and processions have been banned by the federal government in view of the dangerous situation in Corona in the country.
