KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Karachi has announced its verdict on Tuesday in the high-profile Baldia factory fire case.

Rehman Bhola and Zubair Chirya were sentenced to death in as they were directly involved in the terrorism incident.

The factory had been torched by assailants over non-payment of Rs200 million as extortion money.

The court released MQM’s Rauf Siddiquie due to lack of evidence.
